Please consider this request for permission to use an electronic reproduction of the "Portrait Bust of Menander" on a CD-ROM that I have made for my Theatre History Course. I have scanned the photograph on page 35 of the Handbook of the Collections and saved it as a "gif" file on the computer. The image appears with a caption listing ownership credit as "The J. Paul Getty Museum." It is also placed on a page of lecture notes on Greek and Roman Comedy on the website for the course.
