Brief Bio

Dr. Patrick Finelli teaches Theatre History, Contemporary Performance Theory, Caribbean Theatre and Sound for the Stage at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Theatre History and Performance Theory are taught as "Cybercourses" on the Internet as a "distance learning" option. He is the author of the "Directory of Software for Technical Theatre" and the textbook Sound for the Stage. He is the computer editor for the journal Theatre Design and Technology, writes the Online column  for Stage Directions and has contributed articles to Theatre Journal, The New England Theatre Journal and ArtsReach.  You can find his articles on the Connected Courseware website along with a search engine for his publications and web pages.   He is a member of the   Board of Directors of the Performance in History Project for the American Society for Theatre Research. He continues to refine and develop new features for teaching and research on the web.
